A few years ago, I visited 55-57 Thunderbird resto guy Amos Minter's place in Dallas. He was parting out an incredibly straight and rust-free '56 Fairlane sedan like this, blue and white - I mean that car was NICE. Even had factory A/C which had to be ultra rare. The drivetrain was already stripped and much of the other stuff had been removed. What a shame. I took this picture with a fish eye lens adapter. Tis kind of like a bad joke but what one is parting out another would just love to have. I have always liked more door cars but if you go to the car shows they not get the attention of the other models. On the plus side when you are away from the hype they get lots of attention and stay affordable. I have had a lot of fun with this old 56. Hugh
