Does anyone know what other ford cars leaf springs fit the 77 Ford Granada? I have air shocks at the moment but the car bounces because of them. If i deflate them all the way down, the cars rear end get the low rider effect and will scrape. Maybe like leaf springs from a ford F100 or F150 of that era will fit? Please help!

Ford half-ton springs won't fit- besides their load range are so that the car would ride like Fred Flintstone 's ride. Air shocks are not a good idea either as the rear weight of the vehicle becomes supported over two spots one inch in diameter. The rear leaf (s) from a Maverick or Comet will fit, same width, 4 ply, andlength is extremely close, enough for the shackles to accomodate. According to their site, General Spring of Kansas City- fabricate both the Maverick specification and the Granada specification- stated price - $109.99 each side.. For that amount, well worth replacing rather than muck around with helper springs and the like. And, get those air shocks off asap, before any damage is done to the unibody. Hope this helps- General Spring of K.C. phone # is 913-829-0619.
Good luck. Ralph
