Hey everyone,
I think I have a some kind of vacuum leak. When I accelerate the engine hesitates and misfires causing it to jump.
Does anyone know where I can obtain a vacuum diagram for a 78 Versailles?
I also have one more issue. The clips that secured the middle section of the distributor to the bottom. Does anyone know where I can get more clips cause right now it is tied down with tie wraps.
Any Suggestions would be great thanks.

Mark-
Back then Ford put out an excellent manual on electrical & vacuum troubleshouting.
Check out E-Bay # 370249090694 - for 1979 Mercury Monarch & ford Granada. (base units for the Versailles).. For $7.50, it's a great investments..
Your distributor as it is now could well be the cause of hesitation and surging. Your answer may be to buy a used unit and pilfer from it what you need.
Good luck, Ralph,

Don't know how you know my name.
Anyhow, I got a copy of that book I will take a look when it gets here. Do you know where I can find a used unit at?
I went through all the local salvage yards and found nothing.
