I have a 78 Versailles all original with the Venturi setup and all. 57,000 miles. I am having a problem with spark. I have replaced the electronic spark control module and the rotor and cap, plugs, wires coil, and still won,t start. It is getting fuel fine, but no spark to the plugs. I have run all tests that I could think of, and I am at a loss. Any ideas? Mike

the crank position sensor could be at fault. it should be up front around the alt area but some late 78's are located near the trans dipstick on the right bank of the engine. did you have to turn the key on and off several times before it would start before it wouldnt start at all? the ignition switch on the column itself is another suggestion. these cars had these problems. i have a 79 with 26,000 still looking for the crank sensor. have a complete 78 for parts good luck
