Thank's jhkaster , the car will be my 4 seasons car ,it sat for 7 years in a building , the car is comlplete and drivign good , no rattles or noises on the road . After I pick it up I have change the four calipers & brakes ,two where sticking ,so they all had the same age ,I change the fours and all the steel line and front rubber hoses , SAFETY FIRST on a 30 years hold car. The gas tank was brand new with the steel line . The main problem is the wiper always running , have to remove the fuse , one rear window not working . So $1700.00 car+ $350.00 repair =$2050.00 aFORDable clean driver . And the 8 tracks is still working Michel .

Hello Michel- Just read your note on your recent purchase of a Versailles. Thanks for posting pictures, it looks like a real nice car..that has been well maintained... Because you refer to kilometers, I assume you are from Canada or bought the car in Canada.. I'm in Canada, Moncton, New Brunswick, and I have a 1979 Versailles.. not as nice as yours. By the way, James Kaster has a number of Versailles parts for sale, so if you need anything get in touch with him. you should also visit his website.. a great deal of information.. www.lincolnversailles.com I too have a few spare parts for Versailles, I just recently sold a tail light assembly to a gentleman in Toronto, it was not perfect but far better than what he had on his car. Anyway, enjoy that fine automobile and post to this forum as often as you please, questions, suggestions, etc. Cheers, Ralph

Thank you Ralph , I am sure you enjoy your Versaille as much , i had a couple of Monarch over the years ,now driving the Versaille, its more than a Granada with Lincoln tags on . I live in Ville Lasalle , its part of Montreal now , its along the St Lawrence ,between the Champlain bridge and the Mercier bridge . Michel .
