Hi to all,.. I living in Amsterdam, the Netherlands,Holland,Europe. My hobby is USA cars, and I drive only USA cars from the seventies After I sold my Cadillac Eldorado '72 I was looking for another car. I'll found a Lincoln Versailles '78 but it had a problem. The transmision lever was not on the steering collum because there was something broken inside the steering collum. The lever itself is ok but the part inside was damaged/broken. I ask the man who sold the versailles to me if it's hard to find parts for this kind of car and he said ;it's easy because it's an Ford and ok I bought the car. Now I find out that there is not one part in my country of a versailles so my hope is this side. I love this car but can not drive it,..who can help me? pimensil@msn.com Thanks,...Pim.

Hi -- One of our members from Denmark is in the US right now, attended the big all-Ford show at Carlisle, PA. He has friends in Amsterdam, I'm pretty sure. One of the most knowledgeable Versailles guys around is a member of this forum. He also has an excellent website dedicated to the Versailles. James Kaster is the guy and he might be able to help you locate what you need. Visit his website -- www.lincolnversailles.com
