Hi All, I have been researching coach convertibles for several years. Just when I think I've seen them all, I find a doozy like this. It's a '79 Versailles 2-seat roadster convertible. There were several companies that built 2-seat roadster convertibles in the late '70s for several cars like the Seville, Eldorado, and even the Lincoln Mark V. But I have never before seen one like this. I spoke with the owner. He knew nothing about the car or the history of the car. He looked for labels or badges, but saw nothing. Can anyone here help me figure out what company made this?? sandiego.craigslist.org/csd/cto/1236710235.html

I haven't seen before a convertible version of on of these converted 2 doors. Interesting. I don't know who made it. Wonder if it has a working top?? (Probably manual.) Not a bad price for such a unique one-off car. Even the turn signals under the headlamps are modified to be one lens instead of two.
