I hope I'm in the right place. Not too puter savvy (must be metric)lol. Just wanted to introduce myself. I love these cars.my father and me fixed one up as my first car(75 ghia 2 door 351w auto). He may be gone but he isnt forgotten. Working on these cars really brings back the memories.Working on a 78 Granada for a hot restomod and a 75 Merc ghia p/s p/b p/w car with real nice leather and 56XXX actual 2nd owner car. I wish it wasn't a six cylinder but thats what the 78's for. Also had a SWEET 79 Merc 351 4 speed but stupidly sold it Ill try to post some pics

Yes you're in the right place and welcome to my lil forum. Looks like you're having trouble logging in as this was posted in guest mode. To log-in as you, log-in with your handle and password at the bottom of the main page or top right of the main page. That '79 must have been a transplanted 351 car........they stopped the 351 after '77 The easiest way to post pics is by using www.photobucket.com and then linking. If you have troubles, just email me the pics and I'll help. Love to add your cars to our Registry!

Sorry, thats the one I had to sell when I was caring for my father before he died. It's a webcam shot of a photograph and didnt come out real well. I have some other shots of it and my first car a 75 Granada Ghia posted on photobucket under girard_photos Feel free to check them out. I still have that hood, I grafted the scoop off a 71 Cobra Jet Torino it come out really well in fact a lot of people told me it looked factory(from the top anyways). We had a terrible histotic ice storm here in January. Unfortunately my 78 where the hood is now took two blows. One on the roof and another right on the hood scoop insert. I doubt if I can find another insert but think I can repair this one. I had hoped to use it as a mold for a fiberglass project. It has always been a head turner but is really quite heavy.Whats that Mav of yours got under the hood?
