There's a Monarch I've been meaning to look at for some time. It's a parts car. It's supposed to be delivered sometime today. All I know is that it is a "round headlight" Monarch Ghia 4dr and it had a disc brake rear end in it before it was removed. I think it also was a bucket/console car but I think the buckets are gone. It's going to be a tough unit. Apparently, the guy had a 68 Caddy convertible body on top of it (to keep the Caddy out of the weeds).
It might be a Grand Ghia. I'll post more info as it becomes available.

Jeff-
The '74 Maverick was a gem by comparison, It'll take you a`while to make this vinyl roof look good.... Surprisingly, for carrying a Cadillac on it, the roof's not caved in!!!! Note the back bumper is inside the car.. When you get to it, would you check the condition of the doors' weatherstrip rubber for me, and please let me know. Cheers, Ralph

I finally saw it person today. It's a GRAND MONARCH GHIA! and it's now been added to the registry. It still has its consold and sports pw and pwr door locks and vanity mirrors. It's pretty rotton - there' not much frame left. Been a nice car. It's actually black. All the doors are stuck so I got to take a torch to the door to get into and get the codes.

Jeff,
Would you want to sell the console? I am looking to put one in my Granada when I swap the buckets seats into that I picked up from Dennis next spring.

I'll definitely consider it. I haven't decided if it's something I want to keep for myself or not. I let you have first crack at it if I decide to sell it.
Gotta get the d**n doors open on it first!!

I might even have some treasure in the trunk! - No keys. Either way, the car didn't won't cost me anything and I got it delivered. I've already pulled the front disc brakes to cover my outlay costs. I sold the last set for $300.

looks like it might have a good right-side remote mirror. Jeff, if you want to sell the right-hand exterior mirror I would be interested. Benjamin

Jeff,
I was going back thru old posts to see if I missed anything and read this one about the Grand Ghia again. What ever came of it? It is always fun getting to "scrounge" around in a new "toy"! Give the group a morsel to chew on anyway.

I actually haven't done anything with it except I cut the front disc brakes out of it.
