Hello Folks, another question.. :-) unfortunately my steering wheel is broken... not the wheel itself, but the horn button... Which car got similar steering wheels with cruise control? I think i´ve seen a bronko with such SW? What other models may supply me with a substitute? Bye Sascha

Check out E_Bay- - item 380020295734-
Shipping would be costly, though. Keep checking, E- Bay- best source for FORD Steering wheels. Good luck, Ralph

thanks alot.
As i can see these steeringwheels were installed up to 1988...
Í want to get a real substitute... so i have to wait for the right woodgrain and the right colour....
Though the Cruise Control does not work at the moment, i´m gonna take a Mustang Grandt instead... i just want to have a spare part to be able to get the Merc back to original condition
Thanks VERY much

Good luck- I feel you'll wait a long time for an identical horn pad to come available. Remember, you can re-colour the vinyl part easily. I modify my Versailles wheel a year ago. Ralph

Here's one on eBay, a little newer and slightly different look but it would probably fit - Item number: 220228136601 Just a thought: several of our members will be hitting some major shows and swap meets this spring and summer. One of these may come along at those shows. This is a good time to make friends with the members, especially the friendly ones who will help out with shipping stuff to Europe.

Really? The Venyl can be recoloured?
HOW?
Does anyone know how much the shipping to Germany will be for a piece like that?
Meanwhile i found four Monarch that are for sale in Germany and the Netherlands. I Hope i´ll be able to get contact to the buyers to keep this forum growing

Really? The Venyl can be recoloured? HOW? Does anyone know how much the shipping to Germany will be for a piece like that? There are now extensive paint products for recolouring interiors. It is a large market with the import car guys. I've seen the products at car shows with samples and the results look good. I recently shipped a Vauxhall Engine Bearing set to Germany for $18USD (I sell on Ebay) so shipping isn't too bad

I use Tower Paint www.towerpaint.com/ to do color matching for interior projects. Just provide them with the original interior color code, year, make and model. On vinyls and plastic, I use a cleaner and primer for those materials and then paint. Seems to hold for me on my cars. Just note of caution... you have to order custom spray cans on their website and it can be tricky to get that into the shopping cart. Once in the shopping cart, you have to use the note field to specify color code, year, make and model and any other description you want. Might be easier to call in your order.

Thanks for the tip on Tower Paint, James. Hadn't heard of them but they look like a cool resource. Much appreciated.
