Ralph,
It's my new winter beater. It has 225,000kms on it. I'll determine its long term future in the Spring. So far the only thing that doesn't work is the daytime running lights and the only thing it needs is a couple of snow tires on the back.

Yes - I'm definitely very happy with it. I'm going to drive it through the winter and then my father will use it as a second vehicle in the summer.
I have a couple of rust spots around the rear wheel wells and a small rot spot on the left dog leg to tend to. Other than that, it could use tires as they have some dry rot and it needs a panel under the steering column as there is a piece of plastic missing.

Hi Jeff, looks like a great winter beater,or a daily driver. I have sure seen a lot worse on our hwys.. Nothing like a full sized car for comfort .....Don

Update on the '90 Town Car........
I have completed the bodywork on the passenger side. There was rust over the wheel well and on the dog leg above and below the chrome moldings.
Upon removal of the moldings, once I got the grinder going, I found holes. I really wasn't surprised. Either way, I have grinded, filled, primed and painted and reinstalled the moldings. I have to say that colour matched spray paint has really come a long ways. I tested it on the trunk lid underside and thought it was pretty perfect. I took a chance and layered on thin coats on my bodywork. It actually blended very well and you can't tell I touched the car.
I have now started the process on the driver's side. I put the filler in today and will sand tomorrow.
