Hello, All,
Did the family tax returns today............picked a spare Monarch header panel it was in front of a barn up the road from my parents - they were cleaning out a building. They would have let me have it for free but I gave them $20 for it. The last wrecking yard I went to wanted $125 for a header.
Picked up a mint grille and T/L lense on Ebay for DA MERC as well - $110 delivered to my door. Grille was still in original ford box as so was the light.
Not many GMVs on Ebay this week
Spotted a '77 Monarch 4dr (front bumper w/o vents) in Scarborough on Thursday. I'll have to track it down - looked like a real nice clean car.
I was going to start stripping the interior out of that '76 Granada I bought in Jan but it was just to cold and wet today.
I found a possible Monarch Grand Ghia I'm going to buy for a parts car. There's no rear end and it was a disc brake rear end. It's definitely rough. I'm told there is a Caddy convertible on top of it at the moment. (that'll be interesting).
Later.

After having a Caddy sitting on top of it, it must have kind of a custom chopped-top look by now...

After having a Caddy sitting on top of it, it must have kind of a custom chopped-top look by now... The guy has a field a cars and he put this 65-68 Caddy Convertible on top of the car so it wasn't sittingon the ground since of course the GMV was of know value
