I finally found my break fluid leak. My master cylinder was leaking fluid into my booster housing. When I removed the master cylinder and apply the pedal fluid sprays everywhere. Do you guys think that if I pump as much fluid out of there as I can then reinstall the new master cylinder it will be ok. I would really like to resolve this with the 15 dollar master cylinder. Thanks

I am not sure if you should resuse the booster. I think once brake fluid has been in contact with the diaphram in the booster it will eventualy lead to its failure. I plan to replace my booster when I complete the rebuild of my brakes with the rearend just because it is 30 years old. I would not advise compromising your personal safety over a few bucks. Napa has a booster/master cylinder combo for about 140 bucks that is pre adjusted. All you have to do is install it. James
