No - I don't think the first one is worth $2,000.
The second one is a 1978 Granada ESS. This is a Special Model. The Sport Steering Wheels came on the:
'76 Granada Sport Sedan\ '76-77 Granada Sport Coupe 78-80 Granada/Monarch ESS 76-77 Monarch S

Jeff, did you notice that the Monarch has the ESS louvers on it? It's not an ESS, probably added somewhere in its life. But you're right, that's not a $2000 car. Great parts car for Henrik, though, I think that whole interior matches his '77 Ghia.

ok, Im Probably going to sound like an Idiot, but what exactly are louvers? We're talking about window louvers. These are the dress-up covers on the rear quarter windows of 2dr models.

That '78 ESS is way too far gone, but looks like it was a very nice, well optioned car. Factory 8 track, looks like leather on the seats, 302 four-speed, and I think it has the lacy-spoke aluminum wheels too. Shame to see it so trashed. Take a close look at the dash wood trim panels. Notice that they're bordered in black instead of plastic chrome. This was ESS only. I think it's something that's been discussed in the past. No - I don't think the first one is worth $2,000.
