mmmm should I forget a 2 door GMV and go for a 80's LTD II 2 door. Then why not a Ford Ranchero. Damm its like being a kid in a candy store. Have been offered crown vic's; 67 and 69 Cougars too. just need a workshop ;D So many to chose from for a poor Brit

You'll know when you find the right car. I'm not even brand loyal. I love my Merc; but also love my '95 Impala SS. I was also sad to see my '89 LeSabre T-Type go.

I agree with Jeff (except for the brand thing; Dearborn rocks) . I'd say go with your gut. I personally would have a hard time walking away from an early Cougar that I could afford. Just do what feels right to you.

Whelll the original plan was 2 dr GMV , get parts car to engine swap. get Mustang/Cougar project which gets GMV engine as a runner, get another same sort of parts car, build engine trans up while Mustang/Cougar has body work done. But then got offered a mad parts car (crown vic) with bullet holes in it; problem was its not his to sell so I missed a 5.0L Mustang parts car waiting. Never mine the Ford ZX2 is fun, which is really a Mazda with a euro type engine in it. Will find something soon even if its a big old RV to play with.
