Gary,
If search the Granada listings, there's I guy out west (OR I think) parting out a tan early Granada. It appears to have a factory sunroof. He has the glass and mechanism on Ebay.
He wouldn't give me the VIN to the car.

We've had a lot visitors in the last couple of days - I figure a lot of them are "bots" searching through since the new Registry went live.

I think the problem lies within the name of the forum...But I may be wrong here.
GMV didn't mean a whole heck of a lot to me and most definitely wasn't the first thing that came to mind when looking for forum. Most people own Granada's and the one's that own Monarchs and Versailles know, or will soon find out, that they are very similar beast indeed.
Registry kind of implies that one needs to register their vehicle(s), and by giving out ones VIN number, they are in turn providing that possibility of unwillingly disclosing other personal information such as to whom the car is registered (obviously), where they live (can be found down to their street address) and the risk of identity theft, which is happening everywhere and by a multitude of ways, simply grows from there on. Not to mention that it can be used against the forum owner in more ways than one.
I'd go for a php based Granada Monarch and Versailles forum with a FAQ section, naturally a registry section, a how to section and a modification/upgrade section. After all, spare parts are costly and hard to come by. Maybe advertise on cardomain by us going on there, showing our rides and posting a link to this forum?
Please don't take my comments negatively as I simply adore this forum and hats of to Jeff for pursuing this!!!
Also, I don't see GMV interests going down since most cars from the 60's and early 70's are getting more and more expensive, therefore people with less money are starting to gobble these cars up, and modify them. Therefore as interest increases (heck it was in No Country For Old Men), after market parts will increase and in turn, the value of these short production cars will go up much the same as mid 70's Thunderbirds did even though there were much more made in comparison to GMV's. The same thing happened with Torinos and Mavericks and others as well.
We should be looking at how other forums, such as the Falcon and Maverick ones are setup to remain attractively competitive to new GMV fans/owners out there. Php forums tend to look bland and all so common (unlike this handsomely crafted gem).
