If you have questions and problems, post them here or PM me and I will try to help. If you need a place to host pictures for posting or avatars, I use www.photobucket.com It's free and easy.

Jeff- Congratulations & thanks for setting up this forum. It should be most interesting. I hope the "wanted to buy" and"offered for sale" section gets a lot of traffic, for who of us GMV'r isn't looking or hoping to find something for our orphan Fords.. Also, could the forum have a clasification/section for members to "squawk" about their other "collector Fords/or others"? Cheers, Ralph

Ralph - we could use the General-Automotive section for the moment. If it ends up dominating that section, I could set up another folder.

For those having trouble seeing the orange text, you can change your colour scheme to the ProBoards Default.
1. Click on your username 2. Select 'modify profile' 3. Select 'account preferences' 4. Select 'select skin' 5. Select 'Default'
This will give you a basic white, blue and grey board with black text. It's not real pretty, but it will allow you to see things better. I may actually create other skins.

To post pictures, the photos MUST already be online. You may not attach photos from your hard drive. If you do not have on-line photo storage, I recommend www.photobucket.com It is free and it automatically creates thumbnails and urls. If you use photobucket, you can copy and paste the url into the message box and your photo will appear. If your photo is stored elsewhere, you will need to use the image tag from the 'add tags' area of your reply. This is the 4th icon to the right on the bottom row. It looks like a landscape picture. By clicking this button, your beginning and ending tag is created. Simple type the web address your photo is located (including the name of photo and file extension) between the brackets.

Just to add a little to ease the picture thing when you have picture's on Photo Bucket all you have to do is left click your cursor on where it say's URL under your picture you would like to post. It will say copied. Minimize photo bucket and come on here and post the icon ( [/img]) and left click and then right click between where it says img img where you want to post the picture. Clear as mud I bet. Hugh I forgott to add that you will have a list come up and what you do is left click on the word paste.

To add additional viewing options, 2 new 'skins' have been created. This is the colours of the board and text. To change your viewing skin, click on your profile, modify profile and 'select skin'. You will see there is now a GMVregistry2 and GMVregistry3.
