Here's the link www.gmv-registry.com/generic1161.htmlThis is a really sweet car that was on Ebay in Winnepeg, MB. It did not show on Ebay.com since it was listed on Ebay.ca with local pick-up only. Some of the sweet features are Ghia lower body side moldings in red instead of ESS blackout moldings which accent the white nicely. Also, this ESS sports white buckets with red carpeting, dash etc. This is the first '78 Granada ESS registered that was manufactured at the Mahwah assembly plant (there are 2 '79s registered that were built in Mahwah). This is also the first white '78 ESS registered. (there is 1 white '80 ESS registered).

Never saw a white ESS interior - is this a new code, Jeff? I am thinking that the "Ghia" lower bodyside moldings are actually stick-on aftermarket wide vinyl moldings. Could be wrong, but they don't look quite right for the factory deal. Also, I question whether the factory would have even added those moldings - the Ghia group and ESS group would have conflicted in the ordering process. This "conflict" thing I know first hand from documentation when my own car was ordered by the dealer with conflicting option groups - Ford's system at the time rejected whatever was incompatible with the primary model/option group selected. IF it hadn't, the dealer order form specified that my car would be the only silver '77 Sports Coupe with silver roof, Rallye Appearance Package and Sports Touring Package (whatever those were) in existence. But reality and the System made it a white SC with a white roof, hold the Touring and Rallye...

Y'know after closer inspection - I think its a stripe!!! not a molding!!!
The ESS wheelwell moldings are intact and go down to the base of the fender (atleast what is not hidden by mudflap)

Unfortunately I guess that car's what - 1000 miles west of you or so? Would be nice to see it. That interior must be sweet looking.
