Hi Guys ..Has anyone replaced the mini spare with a real wheel & tire? I had mine out yesterday,it looks pretty tight..Don

did they use the inflatable mini spare or the little donut type? i've seen Granadas with the inflatable spare but not the other, and can't say that I've ever seen either in a Versailles.

The spare is an inflatable type also has the cannister for the air,unique I would say but not practical ...Don

The Versailles's most endearing feature is NOT the trunk- lid does not open up very far ( due to paddedVinyl roof).Even when fully opened, the lower section of the "continental" bubble remains in the way, restricting access. I have the "space saver"inflatable tire, neatly nestled in the right rear quarter.. I'm sure this was fine, when these cars were new. But I carry a full size tire laying flat on the trunk floor, but it takes about 30% of the trunk space The best part about the space saver spare is that it came with a regular steel rim, if you ever need one.
