Hi James, I read & copied your article on the comparison of the 2 marques ,very good to have,I copied the others on your web page & show them along with the Versailles at local car shows. I think it gives people some insight into the thinking of the auto makers of the day...Don.

What amazes me is that after many years of collecting articles and memorabilia that every now and then I find yet another article like this one. Wonder how much is left?? Our beloved Versailles really takes it on the chin on 95% of the articles. But, we still love them anyway.

I guess the question is (which I truly don't know the answer) are the early Sevilles collectable?
Do they have a following if not collectible?
We briefly had a '78 Seville in our wreckingyard but we resold it.
The only popularized Seville I remember was on Sheriff Lobo - anyone remember that one?

It's a 2 edge sword... Because they sold better, they are still popular and get lots of attention at auctions. But because they are plentiful, to me, that makes them less collectible. But they are still good looking cars. I think they sell for a bit more than the Versailles do.
