Hi Guys, I read an item about how hard one owner found the Versailles to work on. I know that the orig. EEC is nuts because it was a fairly new concept. My versy has a duro spark ig. a Holley carb & no CPS so its back to a simple eng.I have all new brakes.rear seals & bearings, tie rod ends (left).the heater core &fuel pump were replaced when I got the car. I have replaced the headliner (A mouse had made a nest during the 5 year storage of the car) and painted the bottom half (dk Beryl Met.) The car is in ex cond.I plan to take it to Ont. fron B.C in June .All parts were available from our local Auto Supply outfit. This work was not cheap but nor was it like the trouble I had with a 42 Willy's Wagon I worked on in2001. JUST some info for anyone looking at a spruce up of a Versailles as opposed to a full rebuild...
