the wheels have been turning in my head a bit and i really don't think im going to build my monarch for originality, taking apart this granada and reading that cliff converted his to a stick got me thinking that putting the 4 speed stuff in my monarch behind a 302 would be a fun car.. i like sticks.. as far as swaping the stuff i have doesn't seem like too big a deal, what is all involved in going from the 6 to the 8 as far as clutch stuff, i think the bell housing is the same. will i need a different clutch setup? or z bar?
will a maverick z bar work? as always all seggestions are appreaceated..
pics to follow when i get this started...

Far as I know, the whole setup should transplant and work behind the 302. There's a Granada Z bar listed on eBay, or was recently. Same seller had the entire clutch setup, pedals to bellhousing. if were talking about the same one on ebay i think i may have bought it before i read this ;D .. so my next question, i just noticed that there is no plug to pop out for the rod that goes from the pedal to the z-bar... i forgot to take a pic of that from my 77... im hoping there will be some marking on the inside firewall of the monarch... anyone else done this yet?
