I've got a good question for you rear end guys. I've got a Lincoln Versailles 9" rear end and am trying to have a driveshaft made for it however neither the driveshaft place, Blumenthal's, or local parts store can find the correct differential centering yoke! I picked up a yoke from O'Reilly's, they gave me Precision - Double Cardan CV Flange Yoke #627, and the spacing of the bolts was 3" by 2 1/2" and the center circle was way too small. I've serached the net and they don't post the dimensions of these yokes so I'm at a loss. Any help with the proper part number would be great!

I don't really have a direct answer for you, all I know the Versailles used a double cardan u-joint system to join the drive shaft to the differential; cause I had to replace that rear drive shaft u-joint on mine 7 years ago, not a big job but part hard to find. If you're looking to hook up that 9 in rear end to another Ford product, Mustang, for example; you might have more response on a Mustang forum. A lot of Mustang owner do that conversion. Good luck.Ralph

Well, after going to a few different rear end shops in OKC I wound up at Precision Drive and they knew exactly what it was! They found a CV shaft laying around the shop and made it into a driveshaft yolk. The shop was great, and Farmtruck from Street Outlaws shops there lol, almost half the price of Blumenthal's and had it finished the next day. Blumenthal's had my driveshaft five weeks and still didn't know how to make it...This read end is in a 72 Chevy truck with a 700R4 and a Ford F-150 Al driveshaft, so it made things a little difficult.
Thanks for the response!
