WOULD ALL CARS HAVE A BUILDSHEET? IF SO WHERE WOULD IT BE ON A 82 GRANADA WAGON? IVE LOOKED UNDER THE REAR SEAT TOP AND BOTTOM. UNDER THE CARGO AREA CARPET AND UNDER THE FRONT SEATS. That's the main places where I have generally found them. When I say under the seats, I do mean tucked between the springs and foam padding under the seat. Yours might be under the carpet someplace or maybe it was removed before you got your car.

Might I suggest you fabricate yourself a "hook" with a vinyl covered clothes hanger, .. the covering should eliminate ,if not, minimize the tearing of the paper. Over the years, I've made wonderful tools out of plastic coated wire hangers.. might just work for you..
If you manage to get it out, then you'll know if..... you are the "father". Best o'luck. Ralph

Hey Guys,I have a 78 ESS. I found my first Build sheet under the back seat cushion awhile back. Well,Yesterday,I lifted the right front seat for my son to get in the backseat,And on the back of the passenger front seat,Behind the center part that snaps over the middle of the seat,I seen what looked like paper behind it.So,I pulled the center off,And there is another Build Sheet! Did ALL ESS's come with the European curved headrest's? Mine does not have them. I think they are original because the Build sheet was folded and pushed over the head rest arm that slides up and down in the seatback. Is it normal to find 2 Buildsheets? Thanks Guy's

The '78 Granada brochure shows the European headrests in the ESS. lincolnversailles.com/Granada/1978%20Granada%2009.htmHowever, variations happened. Henrik Baun's '77 Granada Sports Coupe has a Monarch passenger-side dash panel (Ride Engineered badge) and likely left Wayne assembly that way. It's quite possible that your car ended up with the non-Euro headrests. Not surprising to find two buildsheets, there could be more. Assembly line workers had copies as the cars went down the line and frequently stuffed them wherever they added their bit to the car. I've found two in mine - one under the passenger front seat stuffed between the springs and the padding, another under the back carpet. Nice batch of extra interior trim screws were stashed under the carpet, too.
