I'm still looking for some V-8 motor mounts. Want to convert my 78 six Granada to a 351 winsor.

I'm pretty charged up - weather doesn't look to promising though - on and off rain all weekend.
Da Merc goes in Monday for an exhaust gasket. I don't have a torch so I wouldn't touch that one myself; especially wouldn't want to break off a manifold bolt.
Also, I found an A/C freon substitute you can put into the old systems without doing the full conversion. It's environmentally friendly too. It's only $25 a bottle and 2 bottles will fill our systems. I'll let everyone know how that works out.
I also got the tires balanced on Friday. Found out the LF rim is bent quite badly. I hit a culvert last summer in Carlisle in the rain so it didn't surprise me. I have the Mopar Magnum 500s on mine so I won't be finding a replacement rim at Carlisle. However, I have found a single used one on Ebay in Saskatchewan. It needs restoration but doesn't look too awful bad.

I usually come 81 all the way down. Yeah I always get sunburned too. Hope to see you at some point. I'll be wearing my Registry T-shirt with Da Merc on it or my Roblins Garage T-shirt.

I think I came the turnpike 2yrs ago. I sometimes cross at Buffalo NY. However, I'm picking up my father, so I'm crossing at Watertown NY.

Henrik took a pic of that SUV -- an '07 Expedition EL -- parked next to my '02 Explorer yesterday. I thought the Explorer was a pretty large unit until I saw it next to that Expy EL. I'm fairly sure Henrik could carry six or seven people plus a dozen rechromed GMV bumpers and still close the rear hatch. We will just find some nice resturants, I rented a FORD something SUV the biggest car they had. We will all fit in the car. LOL

Dad and I got into Carlisle around 4pm today. Car ran great. Only minor technicality was that I left the gas cap in Watertown, NY. Oh well, I'll pick up one tomorrow. Met up with Henrik. Sourced him a new laptop tonite so he electronically up and running. I'm not sure if we're Henriks pit crew or roadies or entourage (LOL). Anyways, Dinner at Bob Evans, beers and Marketplace Pub and back to the Hampton Inn. Will be checking in with photos and more later. JCR

You should have put your number on my car. I would have called you. Oh, well , there's always next year. Did you see the NOS '78-80 header panel and NOS front and rear '80 bumpers? ========= As for myself, I picked up a NOS 1975-76 RH Monarch Ghia tail light lamp and bezel for $30 and a Mopar Magnum 500 rim which just need a little cleaning up for $10 ( I have Mopar Magnums on DA MERC).
